Accept Health Insurance?
At Move It Physical Therapy, we are an Out-of-Network provider and therefore do not accept insurance. There are various reasons for this which are described below. You may however still be able to use your health insurance depending on your coverage. Please find all the information you may need below.
Health Insurance Information
As mentioned, Move It Physical Therapy has made the deliberate decision to not accept health insurance. While there are many reasons for this which are outlined below, the main reason is Patient Care!
Quality of Care
The main reason for being an Out-of-Network provider is to have the ability to provide quality care to our patients. We taylor each each visit to your needs, and adjust duration of appointments based on what is best for you. This allows us to provide as much care as needed to address your concerns without having to worry about satisfying insurance requirements.
Insurance Reimbursements
As insurance reimbursements continue to decrease year after year for physical therapy services, other clinics have no other choice but to see more patients in the same amount of time in order to maintain their revenue. This means providers are overworked, see multiple patients at the same time, and treatment is often conducted by assistants or aides. While this is certainly not good for the provider, Patient Care is what suffers the most. Patients do not receive the attention or care they need to truly improve, which often results in ineffective Physical Therapy experiences. At Move It Physical Therapy, our commitment is always provide one on one care without compromise.
One on one Care with a
Doctor
Move It Physical Therapy's mission is to provide high quality, cutting edge evidence-based Physical Therapy care directly from a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Your entire session will always be one on one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and you will never see an assistant or an aide. By not having insurance requirements, you will finally experience the benefits of Physical Therapy as your provider will have as much time as needed to use their extensive education, knowledge, and expertise to your benefit.
Can I Still Use My Insurance?
While Move It Physical Therapy does not accept your health insurance as payment, you may still be eligible for reimbursement from your carrier.
Move It Physical Therapy will provide you with a reimbursement bill that you can submit to your insurance. If you have Out-of-Network benefits under your health insurance plan, you may get a portion of your treatment reimbursed.
While we do not work with your insurance, we are happy to help you navigate the reimbursement process. Our Insurance Benefits Worksheet can assist you in making a phone call to your insurance company to understand your out-of-network therapy benefits. We do not guarantee reimbursement as it is subject to your individual health plan, but we absolutely want you to submit and receive it if you're eligible.

What about Medicare?
We do not participate in Medicare. Under federal law, it is illegal to take out-of-pocket payment for services that are normally covered by Medicare. For this reason we can not accept Medicare patients at this time for medically necessary services. However, we are able to perform Wellness and Preventative care even if you have Medicare, but you will not get any reimbursement for these services.
